Roberto and Manuela: welcome to the family

We have owned the agri-tourism since 1987, and have been managing it with a focus on providing spaces in which to spend time in the pursuit of calm, relaxation and experiences that would not normally be possible in a city. We have never lost sight of the essential services, but have also not forgotten the true identity of these lands that have always been linked with agriculture, good cooking and warm and welcoming hospitality.

Roberto is responsible for managing the agri-tourism, maintaining the surrounding areas and looking after the guests; he also acts as a guide along the many pathways in the region, helping to find mushrooms or point out the exceptional views.

Manuela reigns supreme in the kitchen; she holds the secrets to many of the traditional Tuscan recipes that can be tasted in Il Praticino’s restaurant. She is the one that prepares breakfast and decides on the dinner menu, according to the seasons and the ingredients on offer from the region, which are all strictly organic and brought in from the surrounding farms.
